The WKS Trust Hostel is the official boarding facility for Wartburg Kirchdorf School. Located approximately 32 kilometres from Pietermaritzburg, it is within a short walking distance from the school itself. The institution is a private facility, founded in 1948 and administered by the WKS Trust to provide a home away from home for learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12.

Our co-educational, Christian-based facility offers a nurturing environment where learners can thrive both academically and socially. The boarding establishment features a range of facilities designed to support the well-being and development of our learners, including a swimming pool, TV area, soccer field, dining hall, dormitories, and bathrooms.

We pride ourselves on having qualified and dedicated staff, including our boarding parents, Mr. and Mrs. Westraad, who have undergone a thorough screening process to ensure they provide the highest level of care and support for our learners.

The application process for the boarding establishment begins once a learner has been accepted into Wartburg Kirchdorf School. Acceptance into the school automatically qualifies the student to apply for boarding.
